US government administered the affairs in the Philippines from 1903 to 1935 after the Spaniard colonization. The commonwealth formed after 1936 and the former shield design at the back of the coin changed but the front design stayed the same.

I bought this coins from a new friend I've meet at Php5.00/pc only, the coins are in good condition although some it do have dip scratches and already faded which is normal at circulated item. I'm glad I have now at least more than 10 pieces on this, since at eBay most sellers posted price is more Php20.00/pc already.
